The Fucecchio Natural Reserve is one of the biggest inland marshes in Italy. For the whole of July, on Saturday mornings (9am to 12 noon), the Research Centre is offering guided visits in English. Visitors will be escorted by qualified guides in a birdwatching route including the impressive heronry. There will also be an evening visit (7.30 to 10.30 pm) on a full moon night, allowing visitors to enjoy the sunset and listen to the thousand sounds and calls of countless varieties of birds and other animals. Prior booking is required. Min. 20 participants. Visits cost 5 Euros per person.
